Our hospitality client is seeking a freelance Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team through the summer. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong marketer to support lifecycle marketing initiatives while working across email, SMS, and web content. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience executing campaigns, optimizing performance through data, and managing digital touchpoints that enhance customer loyalty and engagement.

Type:Freelance (20-30 hours a week)

Duration:12 weeks (Through the summer, possibility to extend)

Location:Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite

Office:State-of-the-art office located in**River North,

Chicago

**Onsite Schedule:Flexible in-office days

In this role, you\'ll be responsible for building and optimizing email and SMS campaigns using Braze (or a similar platform) and updating website content through WordPress. This position is well-suited for someone with a strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, customer loyalty programs, and web content management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute and optimize existing lifecycle marketing campaigns across

email and SMS channels

Manage automated customer journeys including welcome series,

onboarding flows, engagement campaigns, and retention programs

Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as open rates,

click through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution

Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely execution of

scheduled campaigns

Manage day to day website operations including content updates, page

creation, and general site maintenance

Run A/B tests to improve website conversion rate

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize campaign

and site performance

Track and report on ROI and the overall business impact of marketing

activities

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience setting up and executing email and SMS campaigns, ideally

using Braze or a similar marketing automation platform

Familiarity with WordPress for website content updates and ongoing

site maintenance

Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer loyalty

programs

Ability to adapt to existing systems, tools, and processes

Data driven mindset with experience creating reports and using

insights to optimize performance
