Job Title: 1st Shift Warehouse Associate
Job Description
This role supports the full lifecycle of materials within a climate-controlled warehouse, including receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, packaging, and shipment of goods and equipment. The warehouse associate helps ensure that all departments have an adequate and accurate supply of materials to support manufacturing, service, product testing, and other operational activities.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments of materials, equipment, and packages, inspect them, and verify that quantities and quality meet order specifications.
Confirm the accuracy of shipment documentation, record required information, and sign off in accordance with company procedures.
Properly move, store, or disposition materials following established company procedures and in coordination with other departments.
Update inventory control documents and the ERP system to accurately reflect material receipts, movements, and shipments.
Deliver products and materials to the correct facility, inventory location, or designated departmental personnel.
Manage in-house inventory levels for GMP and non-GMP materials and supplies to support production demands and schedules while maintaining safety stock levels.
Schedule and prepare outbound shipments by coordinating with other departments and facilities to meet timelines and requirements.
Label, package, and store all incoming and outgoing materials according to product requirements and company procedures.
Use material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to safely and efficiently move and track inventory.
Assist in developing, improving, and maintaining policies, procedures, and material control systems for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics functions.
Support general warehouse operations including order picking, packaging, and warehouse inventory activities as needed.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or shipping and receiving operations.
Hands-on experience in receiving and warehouse operations, inventory control, and/or materials management.
Proficiency with shipping and receiving processes, including verification of quantities and quality against purchase orders.
Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
Skill in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Experience with order picking, packaging, and warehouse inventory management.
Ability to update and maintain inventory control documents and work within an ERP or similar inventory management system.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records and shipment documentation.
Capability to follow established procedures and work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing inventory for both GMP and non-GMP materials and supplies.
Familiarity with safety stock concepts and supporting production schedules through effective material planning.
Comfort working with logistics activities such as scheduling and coordinating shipments with internal teams and external facilities.
Interest in contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics policies and procedures.

Work Environment
This position is based in a climate-controlled warehouse and office environment designed for comfort and consistency throughout the year. The role follows a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Thursday for 9 hours per day and Friday for 4 hours, with a flexible start time between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.; the end time is determined by the chosen start time. Overtime is likely and may be needed to support operational demands. You will regularly use warehouse technologies and equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and adherence to established procedures, with appropriate work attire suitable for warehouse operation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
