Accounting Clerk

Position Overview

Position Objective:

To manage General Administration and control financial records.

Essential Duties:

Prepare Weekly POVAs

· Run YRN120 report from My Shaw Reports

· Cost any new components in Impact

· Run Earnings Report in Impact

· Compare YRN 120 Mainframe to Impact Earnings Report

· Prepare Weekly Production by Product Type and Distribute

· Prepare Raw Material Variances (Waste Report) and Distribute

· Prepare Efficiency Report and Distribute

· Review Weekly Receipts and Supply Issues

· Review Off Quality Chargebacks for the week

· Enter all data from above onto Excel spreadsheet

· Enter Weekly Data into PAWS, POVA Program.

· Distribute Weekly POVA in Excel spreadsheet form and distribute

Input Weekly Data into the Activity Summary Report

Prepare Labor reports from My Shaw Reports and distribute.

Prepare a Monthly Labor report for Department Manager to approve and sign

Input weekly data into excel spreadsheets for historical use

Prepare Charts for Maintenance Cost/Earnings to Goals and distribute

Enter Weekly Data in MRM System

Compile all weekly data/spreadsheets into a common file (either on computer or file cabinet)

Gather data and prepare presentation charts as requested.

Administer P-Card usage and reconciliation.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Plant Communication Coordinator for Plant 70/86. Creates communication pages thru Skykit/Loop TV Sign System to send out Communications pertaining to Plant70/86 internally/locally, Corporate Communications from Dalton, and events that are planned throughout the year.

Assist Excellence Enterprise Engineer with Communication thru Skykit/Loop TV for CI/PI/Safety Ideas and Winners

Assist HR during Plant Events

Other Requirements:

Comply with procedures found in SMS.

Comply with Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy.

Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.

Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

Accounting administrative experience preferred.

Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office products or similar.

Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Actively participate in the PRIDE process.

Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.

Plant 70/86 is a tobacco-free facility.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
