Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate operates electric riding pallet jacks in a high-volume fulfillment warehouse to load and unload palletized freight safely and efficiently. This role focuses on handling inbound and outbound freight, supporting inventory management, and working in a distribution environment while following safety and quality standards.
Shift/Pay
4pm start Sunday, 6pm Start Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Tuesday, Friday, Saturday off.
$23/hr. during 90-day trining period. $25/hr. after training period.
Responsibilities
Operate electric pallet jacks (EPJ), including single and double pallet riders, to move freight throughout the warehouse.
Perform loader and unloader duties by strictly loading palletized freight staged by the selection team onto trailers throughout the shift.
Receive and unload inbound freight, verify product accuracy and condition, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
Break down pallets, restack and restock product, palletize freight, and stage and load outbound trailers.
Assist with inventory management activities, including cycle counts and date coding of products.
Use RF scanners to read labels, pick lists, and signage, and accurately complete required shipping papers, reports, and records.
Handle customers' products safely and efficiently while maintaining product integrity and minimizing damage.
Operate various @types and configurations of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and handheld scanners, after appropriate training.
Communicate clearly and tactfully with co-workers and others to coordinate warehouse operations and ensure safe workflows.
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and working.
Meet physical demands of the role by standing, sitting, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
Ability to operate electric pallet jacks (EPJ) and riding pallet jacks in a warehouse environment.
Experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment environment handling palletized freight.
Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to read labels, pick lists, scanner information, signage, and written instructions.
Ability to accurately complete shipping papers, reports, and records required for the position.
Capability to operate various @types and configurations of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and handheld scanners, with training provided.
Good judgment to operate equipment safely and lawfully and to handle products safely and efficiently.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso; lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory; and regularly lifting 20 to 100 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a receiver, loader, or order picker in a distribution or fulfillment center.
Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking.
Experience operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks is beneficial but not required.
Comfort using electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Willingness to learn new equipment and processes, with training provided for forklift and scanner use.

Work Environment
This role is based in a distribution facility. The environment involves frequent use of electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners, with continuous movement around the warehouse. Work is physically demanding and requires regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering of palletized freight. The setting is fast-paced, safety-focused, and centered on efficient handling of inbound and outbound freight.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
