Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to build, wire, and test electrical systems for advanced chiller units. In this role, you will work from engineering specifications, wiring diagrams, and detailed instructions to ensure safe, precise, and high-quality assembly.
This position plays a critical role in delivering reliable refrigeration equipment by ensuring proper installation and integration of electrical components such as control panels, motors, sensors, and high-voltage wiring.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble complete electrical systems for chiller units from the ground up using engineering specifications and work instructions
Perform full electrical wiring, including routing, cutting, stripping, and terminating wires with precision
Install and connect components such as contactors, relays, motors, sensors, and control panels
Wire and integrate high-voltage circuits and control systems safely and accurately
Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts to guide work
Handle and terminate cables ranging from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG DLO
Inspect and test assemblies to ensure functionality, quality, and compliance
Troubleshoot wiring issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments
Follow all safety procedures when working with electrical systems and heavy equipment
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly manage tools and materials
Lift and position components as needed to complete assembly tasks
Required Qualifications
4+ years of electrical assembly experience
Strong experience wiring equipment from scratch, including routing, cutting, stripping, and terminating
Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals and safe work practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience handling 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG cables
Hands-on experience installing electrical components and control systems
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds consistently
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow detailed instructions and engineering specifications accurately
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC or refrigeration experience
Experience with chiller units or similar equipment
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Willingness to travel for training (including potential trips to Canada)
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
