Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Our client, a high-tech manufacturing organization based in Emeryville, California, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Location: Emeryville, California

Pay Range: $39-$45/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

Conduct in-process, first article, and final inspections of high-precision electro-mechanical devices.

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional testing according to SOPs and product specifications.

Record, analyze, and report inspection and test data accurately; maintain quality records per company procedures.

Verify that materials and parts meet documented requirements and support root cause analysis for nonconformances.

Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and automation teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, including those related to semi-automated systems.

What's Needed?

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.

Strong understanding of manufacturing quality principles, including data collection, measurement system analysis, and root cause problem-solving.

Proficiency with inspection tools and electrical test equipment such as laser measurement systems, CMMs, micrometers, and leak detectors.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills with consistent follow-through.

Familiarity with semi-automated and robotic production equipment is preferred.
