*For the level of projects worked and for security purposes, this role is restricted to UK + EU nationals only. This is a site-based role with the potential to work from home one day a week, when the nature of the work permits.

Role Summary

Your responsibilities

Lead and support system verification activities, including system tests, qualification tests, and flight tests

Prepare qualification plans, procedures, and reports to support programme delivery

Support system certification and customer approval activities

Follow robust configuration control, review, and change management processes

Assist with the preparation of estimates, task lists, and risk management plans

Build strong customer relationships by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and internal departments across the business

Work with external subcontract organisations where required

Who we are looking for

A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal and team-building skills

Sound decision-making ability

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and present findings

A well-organised, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers

Intermediate knowledge of PC software applications and a strong understanding of PC operating systems

Ideally you will also have

Experience in the aerospace industry, carrying out Environmental and EMC qualification testing in accordance with DO-160G or equivalent military standards
