Job Description
The 2nd Shift Production Hauler supports continuous production by unloading drainage pipes, trimming excess plastic, cutting materials to specification, and coiling finished products into rolls. This role works on a fast-paced production line, uses hand and power tools, and handles materials of varying sizes and weights to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Unload drainage pipes of various sizes from production lines and staging areas in a safe and efficient manner.
Trim excess plastic from pipes to meet quality and dimensional specifications.
Cut pipes and related materials to precise measurements according to production requirements.
Coil finished pipes into rolls and prepare them for packaging and shipment.
Routinely lift materials weighing 30-40 pounds and perform team lifts for heavier items as needed.
Maneuver heavier parts and finished pipes, including pushing and pulling loads up to approximately 100 pounds from scales or work areas.
Operate and assist with production line and general manufacturing equipment as directed.
Use hand tools and power tools, including sawzalls, to cut and finish products, following safety procedures at all times.
Perform basic packaging and material handling tasks, including stacking, wrapping, and staging finished products.
Support general labor tasks on the production floor, including cleaning work areas and organizing materials to maintain an orderly environment.
Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures to minimize scrap and maintain product quality.
Work scheduled 2nd shift hours and participate in overtime before or after shifts and every other Saturday as needed.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in general labor, production line work, or machine operation.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a routine basis.
Ability to maneuver, push, and pull heavier parts and finished pipes up to approximately 100 pounds.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or labor environment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically demanding production setting.
Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions consistently.
Reliability to work 2nd shift hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous machine operation experience is a plus and considered nice to have.
Experience with packaging and material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Willingness to learn new tools such as sawzalls with training provided.
Comfort working around plastic products and scrap material in a production facility.
Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled production facility that can feel cold during the winter and hot during the summer. The plant operates multiple shifts, with 2nd shift running from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime may be scheduled before or after regular shifts and on every other Saturday as needed to meet production demands. The facility features a fairly organized layout and includes a brand-new production line, though the space can become cramped when high volumes of scrap plastic accumulate. Employees regularly work with production equipment, hand tools, and power tools such as sawzalls while handling pipes and materials throughout their shift.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50/hr.
