Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler builds industrial lubrication equipment and paint sprayers by following detailed blueprints and work orders in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment. This role involves frequent use of hand and power tools, physical assembly of heavy components, and rotation between departments based on skillset and production needs.
Responsibilities
Assemble industrial lubrication equipment, paint sprayers, hose reel lines, and motor air pump systems by following blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
Work from work orders and blueprints to identify parts, tools, and steps required to complete each assembly task accurately and efficiently.
Use air drivers with sockets, wrenches, drills, and other hand and power tools to fasten, secure, and adjust mechanical components.
Measure, align, and fit parts using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure assemblies meet specifications and quality standards.
Handle and assemble pumps and other components weighing 50 pounds or more as part of the hose line and related assembly lines.
Stand and work on an assembly line for the full shift, maintaining a steady pace while following safety and quality procedures.
Collaborate with team members and support different departments as needed, adapting to various assembly lines based on skills and production priorities.
Follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and contribute to meeting safety and process improvement goals.
Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and workmanship, and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
At least 3 months of manufacturing experience and/or experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical assemblies and components.
Proficiency using hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, and tape measures.
Experience using power tools, including air drivers and drills, in a production or similar environment.
Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for the entire shift in a production line environment.
Basic understanding of assembly line processes and general labor tasks.
Ability to follow schematics and mechanical diagrams to complete assemblies correctly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Familiarity with assembling hose reel lines, pumps, or similar mechanical systems.
Comfort working with physical, repetitive tasks in a team-based production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Willingness to rotate between departments and learn new assembly processes as needed.
Interest in developing trade skills and pursuing further technical training.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, well-lit, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. You will work on an assembly line and spend most of the day standing and on your feet. The environment is team-oriented, with departments that may rotate assignments based on production needs and individual skillsets. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, air drivers, and measuring tools while working with mechanical assemblies and heavy components. Safety, cleanliness, and organization are emphasized throughout the facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
