Location

This is a fully onsite role based at our Sunnyvale, CA office. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Discover Impactful Work

In this role, you will support critical R&D and engineering initiatives through hands-on involvement in proto@type development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create proto@types, conduct experiments, collect data, and ensure quality standards are met. Using mechanical, electrical, and analytical skills, you'll help bring innovative products from concept to commercialization. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced technology while contributing to solutions in healthcare, environmental protection, and scientific discovery.

A Day in the Life

Building, modifying, and testing proto@type assemblies and systems

Conducting experiments and validation activities to support product development efforts

Collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems and identifying root causes of issues

Reworking and repairing electrical circuit boards

Assisting with design verification, product characterization, and engineering investigations

Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting change control processes

Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support product commercialization

Keys to Success

Education

Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience

4+years of technical or engineering experience required

Experience supporting product development, prototyping, testing, or engineering operations

Experience reworking and repairing electrical boards

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation and procedures

Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, and other laboratory test equipment

Knowledge of product development processes, testing methodologies, and validation procedures

Familiarity with documentation systems and engineering change control processes

Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical software tools

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Understanding of laboratory safety practices and compliance requirements

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Other

Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work in a laboratory environment while wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and lab coats

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $32.09-$48.14.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
