Job Description
This role focuses on precision assembly work for advanced stealth aircraft and drones, including structural assembly, system installations, and detailed self-inspection. You will work hands-on with airframe components, fasteners, and systems such as electrical wiring, fuel lines, and hydraulic lines to ensure the aircraft meets exacting quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities
Perform structural assembly for advanced aircraft and drones, following detailed work instructions and engineering specifications.
Install components and fasteners on fuselage structures using riveting, drilling, and countersinking techniques.
Apply sealant to aircraft structures and components to ensure proper sealing and integrity of the airframe.
Route and install electrical wiring, wire bundles, and related hardware according to schematics and layout requirements.
Assist with installation of fuel systems, including fuel line routing and preparation for fuel pressurization testing.
Support installation of hydraulic lines and associated components as required for aircraft systems.
Self-inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, to verify quality and conformance to standards.
Perform rework and repairs on components and assemblies when inspection identifies nonconformances.
Follow all safety procedures, tool control practices, and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Collaborate with team members and leads to resolve assembly issues and maintain production flow.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience or training in aircraft assembly or closely related mechanical assembly work.
Proficiency with riveting, drilling, and countersinking operations for installing aircraft fasteners.
Ability to perform basic self-inspection of assemblies and identify defects or nonconformances.
Skill in routing and installing electrical wiring and harnesses in accordance with instructions or schematics.
Familiarity with fuel systems and fuel line installation in an aerospace or mechanical environment.
Understanding of hydraulic line installation and basic fluid system principles.
Ability to follow detailed written instructions, drawings, and work orders with high attention to detail.
Capability to perform rework and adjustments on assemblies to meet quality standards.
Eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Training or experience in electrical installs and testing, including installing wire and performing basic continuity or functional checks.
Experience with fuel line installation and fuel pressurization testing in an aerospace or industrial environment.
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing or maintenance processes and quality standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Willingness to learn new assembly tasks and cross-train in multiple aircraft systems.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large aerospace manufacturing facility with a production-floor environment focused on aircraft assembly. You will work around full-scale airframes and major components, using standard aerospace assembly tools such as rivet guns, drills, countersink tools, and equipment for routing and securing wiring, fuel lines, and hydraulic lines. Work is hands-on and may require standing for extended periods, working on platforms or stands, and accessing various areas of the aircraft structure. The facility follows strict safety, security, and quality procedures, and an active security clearance is required to perform the work. Dress typically includes appropriate work clothing and required personal protective equipment suitable for a manufacturing and assembly environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
