Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations by handling loading and unloading activities, performing shipping and receiving tasks, labeling products, assisting with basic assembly, and helping maintain a clean and organized facility. This role contributes directly to efficient food production and order fulfillment while following established procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials, products, and supplies safely and efficiently.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying quantities, labeling items, and preparing orders for shipment.
Assist with general warehouse organization, including staging products, maintaining inventory areas, and keeping workspaces orderly.
Support basic assembly activities as needed to meet production and packaging requirements.
Use hand tools and basic machine operation skills to complete assigned tasks.
Inspect products and materials for accuracy, quality, and proper labeling.
Help maintain a clean work area by participating in regular cleanup and sanitation activities.
Follow established procedures for working in a food production environment, including handling materials appropriately.
Perform basic maintenance tasks related to warehouse equipment or work areas as directed.
Accurately complete required reports and documentation related to shipping, receiving, and production activities.
Apply basic math skills to count, measure, and verify quantities of materials and finished goods.
Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to meet daily production and shipping schedules.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational standards while operating in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Essential Skills
Previous warehouse experience handling materials and supporting daily operations.
Experience with shipping, receiving, and labeling processes.
Ability to perform basic assembly tasks in a production or warehouse setting.
Capability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
Basic machine operation skills in a warehouse or production environment.
Basic math skills to count, measure, and verify quantities accurately.
Reporting skills to document work activities and complete simple logs or forms.
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks as directed.
Attention to detail for inspection, labeling, and order accuracy.
Ability to work on assigned shifts, including potential overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a food production environment.
Knowledge of forklift operation.
Background in production, packaging, or machine operating.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks within the warehouse and production areas.

Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled food production and warehouse facility, where you will work around production, packaging, and material handling equipment. The position offers two primary shift options: a second shift from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. with Saturdays as needed, and a first shift from Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday shifts approximately twice a month. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring comfort with physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials, as well as working around machinery and in a production setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
