Job Title: MIG Pulse Welder / Welding Technician 2

Job Description

This role focuses on MIG pulse welding and fabrication in a dynamic metal stamping job shop environment. You will read and interpret blueprints, select and fit parts, and perform high-quality welds using primarily MIG, with opportunities to work with robotic and TIG welding as needed. This is a hands-on position on a 1st shift schedule, offering the chance to develop your skills, take on varied jobs, and grow within a company that invests in training, schooling, and certifications.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding, including MIG pulse welding, in a production or fabrication environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout documents accurately.

Experience with layout and fitting of metal parts prior to welding.

Basic fabrication skills, including preparing, positioning, and securing parts for welding.

Skill in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Capability to perform TIG welding or willingness to learn TIG welding as needed.

Strong problem-solving skills to address fit-up, weld quality, and production challenges.

Ability to work independently after training and manage assigned tasks efficiently.

Comfort working in a loud manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.

Reliable attendance and the ability to work 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to take on multiple duties.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $25.00/hr.
