Serco supports CMS, a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with state governments to continue supporting eligibility determinations for consumers purchasing health insurance through the Federal Health Insurance Exchanges. As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for all testing activities.
As a Database Analyst, you will:
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries.
Design, develop, and support SSRS reports and reporting solutions.
Address reporting and analytical requests from PL/SD stakeholders.
Perform initial impact analysis for Maintenance and R3 release tickets.
Analyze data issues and support troubleshooting activities.
Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and Production Support teams.
Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.
Assist in identifying process improvements for reporting and database operations.
Participate in Agile team ceremonies and collaborate with project stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong experience with SQL, TSQL, and PL/SQL development.
Hands-on experience with SSRS and BI reporting tools.
Experience working with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server databases.
Experience analyzing business/reporting requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Ability to perform data analysis and impact assessments for production changes and releases.
Experience supporting reporting requests and troubleshooting data issues.
Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Experience working in CMS or healthcare environments and familiarity with Healthcare and CMS data analytics and reporting environment.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
