As an Electrode Department Operator , you'll play a critical role in preparing high-quality slurry mixtures that power production. What You'll Do
Operate specialized mixing equipment to create slurry mixtures that meet strict quality standards
Handle raw materials, including transporting and loading 30 lb powder bags into mixing systems
Safely work with powders and chemicals while following all PPE and safety protocols
Perform mixing cycles (2-3 per day), each lasting 30-60 minutes
Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S methodologies
Follow cleanroom procedures to ensure contamination control
Support additional production tasks such as assembly, equipment operation, and general manufacturing duties
Rotate between areas and buildings in a large, modern facility
Quickly report safety concerns or equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly
What You Bring
At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, cleanroom, or assembly experience
Strong reliability and consistent work history
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail
Comfort wearing full PPE, including respirator and protective suit for extended periods
Physical ability to lift and carry 30 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet
Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule (days or nights, including every other weekend)
Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)
Cleanroom or controlled-environment experience
Machine operation or assembly
Familiarity with 5S or structured production systems
Experience working with chemicals or PPE-intensive environments

Work Environment
You'll work in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility designed for safety and efficiency. The electrode department operates within a cleanroom where strict standards ensure product quality. While some tasks involve handling powders and slurry, you'll have full protective gear and access to wash stations to stay safe and comfortable.
This is a highly organized environment where cleanliness, structure, and teamwork are part of everyday success.
Schedule
12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Rotating schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
Alternating 36- and 48-hour weeks
Includes every other weekend

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
