Our client is seeking a dedicated Desktop Engineering Field Technician to join their team. As a Desktop Engineering Field Technician, you will be an essential part of the IT Support Department supporting the company's migration and device management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote

Travel - 10-50% to the client site

REMOTE

What's the Job?

Execute hands-on, on-site PC reimaging, including hard wipe-and-reload processes for users transitioning to a GCC High (GCCH) environment.

Manage device enrollment and deployment, ensuring all endpoints meet strict GCC High-compliant security configurations.

Provide dedicated, on-site hardware and software support to minimize business disruption and ensure secure user access during active migration waves.

Coordinate effectively with geographically dispersed employees to schedule and execute device migrations.

Validate endpoint readiness post-imaging, ensuring successful Intune enrollment and full functionality for the end-user.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required. Alternatively, candidates with at least 10 years of relevant desktop administration experience and Microsoft certifications will also be considered.

Ability to work with sensitive data, which requires US Citizen.

Strong hands-on experience with Windows imaging, field deployment, and enterprise hardware support.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune device enrollment.

Proven ability to manage and execute high-volume hardware refresh or reimaging projects.
