BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY :
Lead complex workforce analytics and reporting efforts to enable sound, defensible, and data driven people decisions across the enterprise. Serve as a strategic analytics partner to HR and business leadership by translating ambiguous questions into actionable insights while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and compliance. This role holds explicit accountability for the integrity, consistency, and defensibility of complex workforce reporting, particularly in @contexts where data is used for regulatory submission, audit review, or executive decision making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the design, delivery, and evolution of complex workforce analytics, including multi source reporting, advanced trend analysis, and enterprise level metrics used for executive decision making.
Partner directly with senior and executive leaders to define problem statements, interpret workforce trends, assess risk, and provide consultative insights that drive business action.
Act as a senior HR analytics representative in enterprise data initiatives, ensuring HR data definitions, governance standards, and reporting requirements are accurately represented and sustained.
Lead the full lifecycle of complex, crossfunctional analytics initiatives from intake and prioritization through delivery, validation, and stakeholder adoption often in environments characterized by ambiguity and competing priorities.
Serve as a point of accountability for data quality, auditability, and defensibility, particularly for government, regulatory, and high visibility leadership reporting.
Establish, enforce, and govern reporting structures, business rules, validation controls, and data definitions required to produce accurate, consistent, and defensible workforce insights.
Perform proactive data quality reviews and targeted audits, identifying and addressing risks before they escalate or impact decision making.
Act as an escalation point when workforce data is questioned or challenged, partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance, Audit, or Finance as appropriate.
Proactively identify and communicate emerging workforce trends, risks, and opportunities, moving beyond ad hoc request fulfillment.
Own and deliver complex ad hoc analyses and special projects requiring advanced judgment, ambiguity resolution, or elevated risk consideration.
Provide guidance and education to HR and business partners on workforce metrics, reporting interpretation, and appropriate data usage.
Provide functional leadership and mentorship to Analyst I resources, reinforcing best practices in analytical rigor, data integrity, and reporting consistency.
Partner crossfunctionally with HR teams (HR Business Partners, Learning & Organizational Development, Talent, Goal Deployment, Performance Management, and Total Rewards) to inform program design and evaluation.
Partner with Finance, Executive Leadership, and people leaders to lead workforce, headcount, and cost analyses that inform enterprise workforce planning, forecasting, and requisition decisions.
Own the ongoing enhancement, maintenance, and governance of workforce reporting platforms (SuccessFactors, GCP, Workforce Software, Tableau, and related tools), coordinating with system and module owners to guide enhancements, manage release impacts, and ensure sustained alignment with reporting standards.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills
SuccessFactors and HRIS experience preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in workforce analytics, HR data, or enterprise reporting and analytics, or an equivalent combination of experience, demonstrated capability, and organizational knowledge.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including expert level use of Microsoft Excel for complex analysis and validation.
Strong proficiency with workforce analytics and reporting platforms, including dashboard visualization, querying, coding, and logic development (e.g., SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics, SuccessFactors Story Reports, Tableau, Power BI, Workforce Software, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, or similar tools).
Demonstrated ability to design, assess, and govern reporting logic and data structures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and defensibility of workforce insights.
Extremely high attention to detail, data definition integrity, and data quality, with the ability to proactively identify and remediate issues.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated habit of questioning assumptions and exploring implications ( why, what if ).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner crossfunctionally and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Ability to prioritize and manage competing analytical demands in a dynamic environment while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance standards.
High integrity and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.

Position requires up to 5% of travel
This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ( ITAR ) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI )-
Compensation starting at $57,750 - $90,750 depending on candidate location and experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
