Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and wiring electrical components, subassemblies, and systems into various configurations by accurately reading and interpreting electrical schematics. You will work with panels, boards, and equipment, ensuring that all wiring and hardware are installed correctly, safely, and efficiently in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Integrate electrical components, subassemblies, products, and systems into various configurations according to specifications and schematics.
Wire components together on panels, boards, rails, and pieces of equipment using proper techniques and tools.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to determine correct wiring routes, component placement, and assembly steps.
Measure, cut, strip, and crimp electrical wire to precise lengths and specifications.
Assemble and install wiring harnesses, fans, and other electrical components on panels and boards.
Mount and assemble electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, controllers, and related devices.
Attach and secure hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to complete assemblies.
Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure accurate placement of components and wiring.
Utilize common hand tools to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
Follow established work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Support production needs by working a 1st shift schedule, including optional and occasional mandatory overtime as required.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.
Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, including measuring, cutting, stripping, and crimping electrical wire.
Experience working with wiring harnesses, fans, and electrical components on panels, boards, and rails.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
Experience in electrical assembly, including mounting and assembling components such as transformers, contactors, relays, and controllers.
Ability to assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch for precise measurements.
Proficiency using common hand tools for both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in an electrical assembly or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work from technical drawings and schematics.
Comfort working with a variety of electrical and mechanical components.
Willingness to work a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with optional and occasional mandatory overtime.

Work Environment
This position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility designed for comfort and consistent working conditions. The standard schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with optional overtime on Friday and occasional mandatory overtime as needed. You will work with electrical components, panels, boards, rails, and common measuring and hand tools as part of daily assembly tasks. The dress code includes jeans, safety boots, and a work shirt. The facility is in a growth phase and is set to expand, offering a dynamic environment with increasing production and advancement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
