Summary About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Responsibilities Works under the general supervision of the Commander, Red River Army Depot, who provides broad policy and program guidance. Plan, direct and implement a broad based social service program that includes Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP), Army Community Service (ACS), Army Emergency Relief (AER), Suicide Prevention and Intervention, TACOM Ani-Harassment Program and Army Health and Wellness Program in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Army (DA), and command policies and guidelines. The Community Support Office focuses on prevention, identification, rehabilitation, intervention, and treatment services available for active duty military and civilian personnel and their family members. Evaluate, coordinate, and promote programs within the Community Support Office. Conduct on-site visits to activities attached to the installation to encourage program participation and to evaluate program effectiveness. Serve as initial point of contact for civilian personnel who voluntarily refer themselves or military personnel who are involuntarily referred to the Community Support Office.
