Job Overview

Provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment in a medical device environment. Responsible for equipment installation, validation, troubleshooting, and driving process improvements while ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Support manufacturing equipment and operations

Assist with FAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and integration.

Develop equipment layouts and support facility changes. (AutoCAD)

Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams.

Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide hands-on support for equipment setup, alignment, and startup.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years relevant experience.

Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, and process improvements.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
