What You'll Do
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You'll get to: Responsibilities / Authority:
Who You Are
Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations.
Assist Journeymen with the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Complete preventative maintenance on, repairs to, and/or installation of equipment as directed.
Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform maintenance duties.
Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules.
Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.
Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership.

High School Diploma or GED.
Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam.
Previous relevant electrical experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic
Knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code.
Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside.
Able to rotate to different shifts and work overtime as needed.
