Job Description
Principal Software Engineering needed by AT&T SERVICES, INC. in Middletown, NJ to apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Perform architecture, design, development, and deployment of systems supporting network solutions critical. Lead efforts to consolidate multiple network configuration management applications into a unified, efficient, and scalable solution. Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages and network protocols. Develop solutions to integrate mainframe-based legacy systems with modern non-mainframe architectures, ensuring operational continuity during transformation. Develop and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance automation, improve accuracy, and optimize network provisioning processes. Create innovative Agentic AI technologies to enable autonomous decision-making and adaptability in network configuration and provisioning systems. Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with AT&T's strategic goals and industry standards. Use continuous integration continuous deployment principals along with using Agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery and deployment of critical business features.
