DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

[The Senior Metrology Technician is an expert who operates within the Metrology Lab as a focal for training, equipment maintenance and overflow analysis support. Additional tasks may be delegated to match the needs of production.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[The following essential job functions are performed as a Senior Metrology Technician:]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Focal for data collection, equipment handling, and analysis training]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Support production analysis as needed, with a focus on building analysis skillsets in production]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Participate in continuous improvement initiatives]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Development of metrology processes with Project Engineering groups]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Develop metrology training]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Attention to detail and quality is required]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Ability to read and understand blue-prints and / or CAD models]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Performs preventive maintenance on machines including daily inspections, weekly maintenance, and annual maintenance]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Advanced Assembly Procedures will include detailed hardware installation, plus in-process and final assembly of a wide variety of tooling, parts, and models.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Understanding of mill gauging procedures]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
