Milwaukee Valve Company is looking for an Electrician II to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 270.
All offers of employment by Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, blood test, physical capabilities test, and background check, all with acceptable results. Applicants are responsible scheduling and completing the required drug screen, blood test, and physical capabilities test within 7 calendar days of offer acceptance.
The regularly scheduled hours for this position are 8:00AM- 5:30:PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may become a possibility or even required. When working overtime, the regularly scheduled shift is adjusted by 1-2 hours at either the beginning or end of the regularly scheduled shift. Overtime may also be requested or mandatory on Saturdays as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Have the ability to read blueprints, schematic/wiring drawings.
Have the ability to trouble shoot basic PLC operations.
Have the ability to install and maintain all wiring and lighting systems with help from other qualified maintenance personnel.
Have the ability to inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and circuit boards with help from other maintenance personnel.
Have the ability to identify some electrical problems with a variety of testing equipment.
Have the ability to repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools with help from other qualified maintenance.
Must follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the department in a prescribed manner.
Required to have some basic @types of electrician tools needed to perform their assigned tasks.
All work is subject to final inspection.
Requires ability to work with other maintenance personnel to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
Will be required if needed to work in the Foundry and work some split shifts on occasions.
Working knowledge of 240-V 3 phase 110-volt AC & DC.
Other duties as assigned.
