As a Security Officer Entry Control Associate in Bolingbrook, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, processing visitor and vendor entry, documenting arrivals and departures, and helping to deter unauthorized access to warehouse and distribution areas.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.

Support shipping and receiving operations by observing truck entry and exit activity, maintaining required logs, and following post orders related to gates, docks, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
