We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Quality & Mission Assurance Engineer with our Naval Power - Radar Sensor Systems team.
This position is an onsite role in Plano, Texas.
What You Will Do :
Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
Responsible for quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality.
Lead and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
Generation of new Cost of Quality (CoQ) projects to reduce costs on the program.
Support implementation of APQP as applicable.
Serve as a program quality liaison across customer organizations (Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and United States Government (USG), as well as relevant factories and engineering labs as first responder for quality issues and concerns related to development and production products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner with program leadership teams to define and implement quality improvement strategies.
Ensure all development hardware (Engineering, Proof of Design and Proof of Manufacturing) are appropriately documented in the quality history records and align to quality and customer requirements per the program quality plan.
Support AS9100 Internal, Corporate, and Certification Audits.
Travel to Raytheon program facilities and customer locations.
Qualification You Must Have :
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Working experience with Quality Management Systems, to include ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or AS9102.
Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions.
Working experience interpreting technical drawings.
Active and transferable final U.S. government issued Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer :
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Working experience in CORE processes or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certification.
Working experience in AS9145 (Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)).
Working experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)/gating, command media or processes (nonrecurring/recurring activities).
Experience collaborating with program team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
Working experience using Industry and Government Quality and Mission Assurance requirements and standards.
Working experience in predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and developing actions to improve performance or mitigate problems.
Experience using written/verbal presentation skills.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
