The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading site-level supply chain activities, including supply planning, procurement, and inventory management execution. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, operational capabilities, and business objectives through effective Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE). The position plays a critical role in translating SIOP outputs into actionable plans at the site level while driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Execute supply chain strategies at the site level in alignment with global SIOP direction and business objectives.
Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, production coordination, and distribution.
Drive initiatives to improve service levels, reduce costs, and optimize inventory performance.
Ensure supply continuity through proactive risk identification and mitigation planning.
Lead the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process at the site level, ensuring short-term alignment between demand and supply.
Translate SIOP plans into detailed execution schedules and actionable supply plans.
Monitor near-term demand changes, supply constraints, and operational performance, adjusting plans accordingly.
Facilitate daily/weekly execution reviews to resolve supply-demand imbalances and escalate risks as needed.
Oversee procurement execution, including purchase order management, supplier communication, and material availability.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and reliability.
Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on corrective actions when needed.
Partner with Sourcing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure supplier compliance with industry standards.
Manage site inventory strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and inventory accuracy.
Drive inventory optimization initiatives to balance service levels and working capital targets.
Monitor and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules and customer commitments.
Track and report key site-level KPIs, including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory performance, and supplier reliability.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Provide regular updates and insights to site and regional leadership teams.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on execution efficiency, lead time reduction, and data visibility.
Support ERP/MRP system optimization and ensure accurate planning and execution parameters.
Standardize site processes and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO).
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals at the site.
Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
Provide coaching, performance management, and development opportunities.
Support organizational change initiatives and a continuous improvement mindset.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of site-level supply chain execution, including planning and procurement.
Experience with S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) processes and short-term operational decision-making.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (EPICOR preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or related roles.
3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device or regulated industry.
APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Work Environment
On-site schedule M-F 8-5 pm with some flexibility around hybrid days if needed. The role oversees a team of 5 people, consisting of Buyers and Planners. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
