Agile Field Sales Representative
Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting and onboarding small business delivery partners for a rapidly expanding hub delivery program. You will serve as a field-based sales representative who travels extensively to build relationships with local businesses and community leaders, generate interest in the delivery program, and manage a robust candidate funnel through Salesforce. The position offers the opportunity to transform local businesses, contribute to a high-visibility initiative, and work within an elite team that supports long-term growth and potential conversion to a permanent role.
Responsibilities
Travel frequently to new and established markets to represent the hub delivery program and act as its primary face in the field.
Generate interest in the program through in-person prospecting, including door-to-door outreach and direct engagement with small businesses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders to increase awareness and adoption of the hub delivery program.
Educate small business owners on the benefits and requirements of participating in the hub delivery program and guide them through the application process.
Create, grow, and manage a candidate funnel of prospective delivery partners, ensuring all activities and progress are accurately tracked in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Collaborate closely with regional Business Development Managers and internal stakeholders to initiate and grow candidate pipelines in assigned recruiting regions.
Analyze the total addressable market and current program footprint to develop effective acquisition strategies for new delivery partners.
Acquire new delivery partners through referrals, door-to-door outreach, and hosting local events that promote the hub delivery program.
Set clear and accurate expectations with prospective partners to build trust and establish long-term, successful partnerships.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the delivery partner experience, and propose or support implementation of those improvements.
When not traveling, manage sales and recruiting funnels from the office, partnering with internal stakeholders and potential partners across the country to continue program growth.
Consistently work toward and exceed individual and team sales and recruitment goals, contributing to both standard and team-based commission targets.
Qualifications:
Field sales experience, preferably 2-3+ years, with a consistent track record of exceeding sales goals.
Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management.
Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and funnels, including prospecting, qualification, and closing.
Proficiency with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, for tracking leads, activities, and performance metrics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and influence small business owners and community leaders.
Comfort with cold calling and in-person prospecting, including door-to-door outreach.
Ability to quickly analyze data and market information to develop and refine acquisition strategies.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, including air travel, with travel costs covered or reimbursed.
Valid driver's license and ability to rent and operate a car for field assignments.
Ability to work effectively in a rapidly growing, high-visibility program and adapt to evolving processes and goals.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
Work Environment
This role combines extensive field work with office-based responsibilities. Approximately 75% of your time involves travel, including frequent air travel and local driving, to visit small businesses, attend local events, and meet with community leaders in various markets. Travel costs are covered or reimbursed, and you will need a valid driver's license and the ability to rent a car. When not traveling, you work from an office environment, focusing on funnel management, data analysis, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across the country. You will use tools such as Salesforce and other standard office technologies to manage leads, track performance, and communicate with partners and colleagues. The team operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting with high visibility to leadership, clear performance expectations, and a commission structure that rewards both individual and team achievements. Dress expectations may vary between professional office attire and business-appropriate field wear, depending on meetings with small business owners and community events.
