Job Summary:
SECURITY SPECIALIST COORDINATOR WANTED!
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR), is seeking a very responsible individual who oversees the installation, and sets up the statewide metal detectors and body scanners, It includes troubleshooting and/or coordination of repairs with manufacturers, and vendors. The SECURITY SPECIALIST COORDINATOR will be also responsible for preparing weekly written progress reports with detailed information, and monitors the statewide electronic security systems installed on perimeter fences at each Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) location.

Job Duties:
Travels to various prison locations to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on metal detectors and body scanners
Communicates with manufacturers and/or vendors to obtain various @types of information to include technical assistance and pricing
Travels to various prison locations to monitor and evaluate the physical fences, gates, electronic security systems, and equipment
Communicates with Prison Operation Security, Facilities, vendors, contractors to keep the systems operating at peak performance
Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reports on all assignments to the direct supervisor
Assists the fire alarm technicians, and construction managers during various construction phases of projects
Assists Fleets Services with duties, and assignments as required
Drives on State business

Selective Preference(s):
Prefer three (3) years of administrative experience

Retirement :
Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
