Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.

Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and resolve production issues.

Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements related to workflow, equipment, and layout.

Support production and maintenance teams with technical problem-solving.

Assist with machine setup, equipment troubleshooting, and resolving product deviations.

Perform in-process checks to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Collaborate across teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and process records.

Handle sensitive technical and manufacturing information in accordance with company policies.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and engineering principles.

Experience troubleshooting production and process-related issues.

Ability to analyze data and independently solve complex problems.

Effective communication across production, engineering, and leadership teams.

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in metal fabrication, welded assemblies, or similar environments preferred.

Ability to build relationships across departments and support team collaboration.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role from Monday to Friday in a fast-paced and production-driven environment focused on tubular components and welded assemblies. Engineers gain exposure to high-volume manufacturing challenges and process improvement work. The setting is hands-on, closely tied to the shop floor, allowing individuals to take ownership of projects and troubleshoot issues in real-time. The company operates with a lean, team-oriented structure, providing more visibility and opportunities to contribute across multiple areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
