Job Overview

Provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment in a medical device environment, focusing on Needle Punch and Label Printing. Responsible for equipment installation, validation, troubleshooting, and driving process improvements while ensuring GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Support manufacturing equipment and operations for Needle Punch and Label Printing.

Assist with FAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and integration.

Develop equipment layouts and support facility changes.

Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.

Lead/execute validations (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with GMP.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams.

Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide hands-on support for equipment setup, alignment, and startup.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years relevant experience.

Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, and process improvements.

Knowledge of FAT, installation, commissioning, and validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools.

Understanding of GMP requirements.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Hands-on experience on the production floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fox River Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
