Job Requisition Introductory Paragraph:

This is a Student Co-op position located in Saginaw, MI. This position supports the Commercial Team within the Global Supply Management (GSM) US Division.

Serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers to obtain required documentation, including financial data and sustainability audit information

Lead project to develop and maintain a commodity-based wall chart of parts, incorporating awarded program volumes with quarterly updates from Sales

Create new and/or enhance existing computer applications, programs, spreadsheets, databases, etc. to compile information and generate reports of department metrics

Analyze Intelex sourcing records and generate report

Long-Term Agreements:

Review, document, and ensure compliance with all suppliers long-term agreements, confirming clear understanding of terms and conditions

Maintain a well-organized, audit-ready database of all long-term agreements for easy access and tracking

Support tactical purchasing activities as project needs arise.

Requirements:

Candidate must be attending a 4-year university local to Saginaw

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business or related degree

Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters

Up to 40 in the summer

Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale

Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters

Candidate must have an interest in Supply Change Management or Business

Candidate must have strong mathematical and analytic ability

Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Candidate must have excellent Communication, Documentation Skills and attention to detail

Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
