Job Title: Aluminum MIG Welder
Job Description
This role involves performing high-quality MIG welding on aluminum components in a busy production facility. You will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of aluminum products, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet production standards and blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on aluminum components and assemblies to meet production and quality standards.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and fabrication plans to complete welding tasks accurately.
Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
Assist with fabrication tasks such as fitting, positioning, and securing parts prior to welding.
Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment at all times.
Collaborate with team members in a 40+ person production environment to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and help ensure efficient workflow through the production facility.
Essential Skills
3-5+ years of experience in MIG welding.
Demonstrated experience welding on aluminum in a production or fabrication environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Proficiency with MIG welding techniques, including proper settings and parameters for aluminum.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, structurally sound welds.
Solid understanding of welding safety practices and proper use of protective equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a high-volume production facility.
Expierence in metal fabrication in addition to welding.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger production team.
Reliability and flexibility to support occasional extended hours when needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-temperature-controlled indoor production facility that manufactures high-end aluminum boat lifts. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside more than 40 production team members, using MIG welding equipment and standard fabrication tools. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional additional hours after 3:30 p.m. or on Saturday mornings as needed to meet production demands. Work attire should be appropriate for an industrial welding and fabrication setting, including suitable protective clothing and gear.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
