Heavy Equipment / Forklift Mechanic Technician

We are looking to hire Experienced Forklift or Heavy Equipment Mechanic -Technicians Fleet Maintenance. We are looking for Shop and Road Technicians.

Competitive pay for top performers. Salary starting at $25/Hr. (entry level) and up. Salary IS negotiable pending qualifications. Any interviews will be kept in confidence. Benefits available. Bonuses for lead generations for our customer service department.

Pay & Benefits:

Starting Pay: $25/hour (Starting rate is negotiable based on experience)

Bonus $1,000 bonus after 6 months

Additional Benefits:

Paid sick time after 6 Months

Vacation time after 1 year

Health benefits available after 9 months

401(k) available after 9 months

Commission bonuses on sales from service leads (Why let the sales guys have all the fun?)

THIS IS NOT A FORKLIFT OPERATOR POSITION !!

We have positions for both our Long Island and New York City Branches:

Road Service Technicians -LI and NYC 5 Boros PM Technicians for both Long Island, and the New York City 5 Boros Shop Technician for our Long Island Branch

Full-time M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm with additional weekend work and overtime availability.

Must have basic familiarity working with automotive systems such as:

Hydraulics Engines & Transmissions Brake systems Preventive Maintenance (oil changes and basic maintenance) Fuel systems Steering systems (pumps, axles, etc.) Electrical troubleshooting (i.e. batteries, chargers and Alternators, etc.)

You dont have to be an expert in all areas, but mut have basic knowledge in some if not all.

Basic Job tasks are:

Troubleshoot, fix, and repair customer and company owned equipment such as Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Scissor lifts, etc. Starter and Battery repairs change hydraulic and fuel line hoses steer axle repairs, etc. Install safety eq. such as lights and alarms Safety inspections for items such as lights and horns Preventative Maintenance Lubrication, Oil and Fluid filter and fluid replacement Perform warranty work or service updates and recalls Use laptop and or handset to diagnose and trouble shoot forklifts and industrial eq. Write up customer work orders and recommended repairs

Continuing online training and factory training is available from our manufactures we represent but you will need basic knowledge of the job task and automotive mechanical work. Bonuses for completing completion training modules. Tool stipend available as you grow.

If applying for a road tech position, a clean license is required.

All applicants must have US Work authorization.
