Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The warehouse worker supports daily shipping and receiving operations by moving products from the warehouse to loading docks and into tractor trailers for shipment. This role also assists with relocating an entire department to another floor and involves extensive walking and frequent heavy lifting in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload products from the warehouse onto tractor trailers for outbound shipments.
Move products efficiently from storage areas to the loading dock using appropriate material handling equipment.
Assist in relocating a full department to another floor, including moving equipment, materials, and inventory as directed.
Perform general labor tasks such as organizing, staging, and preparing products for shipment.
Handle materials safely and accurately to prevent damage and ensure correct placement.
Use a pallet jack to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
Support shipping and receiving activities by helping to manage incoming and outgoing products as needed.
Walk extensively throughout the facility to complete assigned tasks and respond to operational needs.
Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs on a daily basis while following safe lifting practices.
Work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift when operational needs require it.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of previous shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a distribution warehouse environment.
Proven experience performing material handling and general labor tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and safely handle items up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
Previous knowledge and hands-on experience using a pallet jack.
Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Reliable work ethic and willingness to take on physically demanding tasks.
Positive attitude and readiness to learn new processes and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a distribution or warehouse setting supporting shipping and receiving operations.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement and physical activity.
Strong attention to safety when lifting, moving, and staging materials.
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
This is a fully onsite role in a corporate warehouse and loading dock environment. The position is highly physical, requiring extensive walking throughout the facility and lifting up to 50 lbs on a daily basis. You will regularly use pallet jacks and other basic material handling tools to move products and pallets. The standard shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the expectation of working additional time when operational needs arise. The work takes place in an active shipping and receiving area where safety, awareness, and appropriate work attire suitable for physical labor are essential.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
