Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports a high-volume syrup flavoring warehouse by accurately selecting and preparing orders, operating forklifts, and handling bottled products. You will work primarily on second shift (1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.), spending most of your time on your feet, inspecting bottles, and moving materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets, materials, and finished product throughout the warehouse.
Select and pull orders accurately using RF scanners and order picking processes.
Inspect glass and plastic bottles for correct labels, proper fill levels, overflow, leaks, and secure capping before boxing.
Handle glass and plastic bottles carefully to prevent damage and ensure product quality.
Lift and move boxes of full and empty bottles weighing up to 75 pounds, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to stage, load, and unload products.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including labeling, loading, and maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy.
Follow all warehouse Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols at all times.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to support uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order selection, labeling, and inventory handling.
Collaborate with team members on both the warehouse and production sides as needed to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of warehouse experience, with consideration for candidates who have a minimum of 1 year.
Proven sit-down forklift operating experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
Strong reliability and consistent attendance in previous roles.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse GMPs and safety protocols.
Ability to stand and walk on your feet for most of the shift.
Attention to detail when inspecting labels, bottles, and packaging.
Experience with order picking and order selecting in a warehouse setting.
Basic experience with RF scanners for picking or inventory tasks.
Material handling experience, including pallet jack use and loading activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Stand-up forklift experience is a strong plus.
Previous experience as an order puller in a food manufacturing or food production environment is beneficial.
Experience in shipping and receiving, labeling, and warehouse inventory control is helpful.
Experience working in a production environment with multiple lines running simultaneously is an advantage.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures in a GMP-regulated environment.
Spanish language skills are acceptable for the role.

Work Environment
You will work in a large facility that includes both warehouse and production areas, primarily on second shift from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The warehouse side focuses on storage, order selection, and material handling, while the production side operates multiple lines, typically with 4-10 people per line and four lines running at a time. The production area is maintained at room temperature and follows strict Good Manufacturing Practices. Personal protective equipment such as hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, and safety shoes is required. The role is physically demanding, with most of the shift spent standing, walking, and lifting, in a busy, fast-paced environment where safety and attention to detail are essential.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
