Position Title : Transfer Cart Driver
Pay Rate : $24.70
Category/Shift : Hourly Shifts -3 rd shift
3 rd Shift - Starts up the week. 10pm-7am
** Some weekends are mandatory
** Mandatory overtime required at times

The Job You Will Perform:
Transfer Car Operator - Transfer corrugator stock to WIP (work in process
Transfer Car operators report to corrugator supervisors.
Support in Stacker operator duties and responsibilities:
following all safety rules and procedures;
reading factory work orders and converting schedules to learn customer specifications;
verifying (measuring) sheets to insure that sheet sizes and score locations conform to customer specifications;
checking other board quality characteristics such as warp, score strength, caliper, bond, line-up, and color;
identifying sheets with chalk-written order numbers and/or load tags;
Removing, stock , and identifying nonconforming materials (warp, loose, out-of-line, etc.);
maintaining clean and organized work areas;
Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

The ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation

The ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
The ability to use basic shop math
The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
