2nd Shift Production Supervisor

?? Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (based on experience and interview performance)

We're seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead high-performing teams in the assembly of immunoassay diagnostic instruments. This is a leadership role for someone who doesn't just manage production but elevates it through data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and a genuine commitment to developing others.

What You'll Do
Lead & Develop a High-Performance Team
Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees on 2nd shift
Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable through structured performance management
Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and career development support
Build a culture centered on accountability, engagement, and continuous growth
Drive Operational Excellence
Oversee daily assembly operations to meet production targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Use data and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements
Ensure adherence to FDA QSR, GMP, and regulated manufacturing standards
Maintain accurate production records and compliance documentation
Lead Continuous Improvement
Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, Gemba walks, 5S) to eliminate waste and improve workflow
Identify and implement process, efficiency, and line-balancing improvements
Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues and implement sustainable solutions
Evaluate manufacturability and support process and design improvements
Champion a Safe, Organized Workplace
Enforce safety standards and proactively address risks
Maintain a clean, organized production environment aligned with 5S principles
Ensure proper training and adherence to standard work
What You Bring
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree + 5+ years, OR
Master's degree + 3+ years, OR
High school diploma + 8+ years
in a regulated manufacturing environment
Key Capabilities
Proven leadership experience with measurable improvements in performance metrics
Demonstrated ability to develop teams and grow talent
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, Gemba, 5S)
Deep understanding of FDA QSR, GMP, and regulated production environments
Experience using data to drive decision-making and process improvements
Skilled in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and implementing sustainable solutions
Preferred Experience
Diagnostics, medical device, or highly regulated industry background
Experience with quality systems and daily management practices
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Track record of building scalable, repeatable production processes
