Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
The Electrical Technician assembles, wires, and installs electrical control panels for large HVAC rental units by interpreting blueprints and schematics. This role focuses on precise wiring, safe installation, and consistent quality in a clean and organized production environment.
Responsibilities
Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and schematics to plan panel layout and wiring routes.
Cut and strip wire to specified lengths according to drawings and wiring diagrams.
Wire electrical panels accurately to match blueprints and schematics, ensuring correct connections and labeling.
Assemble and build electrical panels used in HVAC rental systems ranging from approximately 3.5 to 80 tons.
Use hand tools and wiring tools safely and effectively to complete assembly and installation tasks.
Install completed panels into HVAC units when required, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications before final installation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment with care.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and project timelines.
Essential Skills
Basic electrical experience with the ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools and wiring tools in an electrical or assembly environment.
Ability to work from blueprints and schematics to perform accurate wiring and assembly tasks.
Attention to detail and precision when cutting, stripping, and routing wire.
Capability to assemble and wire electrical panels safely and efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience with electrical tools and wiring tools is preferred.
Previous experience in panel building, electrical assembly, or HVAC-related electrical work is beneficial.
Familiarity with assembling or wiring controls for large mechanical or HVAC systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic wiring issues.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a production setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
