Material Handler Needed - Bedford Park, IL

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and supply chain efficiency.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Bedford Park, IL

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 8am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.

Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

What's Needed?

No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving stock items.

Basic record-keeping skills and familiarity with inventory procedures.

Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
