Job Title: Picker and Packer

Job Description

The picker and packer will work at a designated station, carefully placing products into bags and applying the correct labels to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Stand at an assigned workstation and accurately pick products for each order.

Place products into appropriate plastic bags in a neat and secure manner.

Apply the correct labels to each bag to ensure accurate identification and tracking.

Maintain a high level of speed while consistently meeting quality standards.

Perform visual quality checks to confirm that products and labels match the order requirements.

Follow established packing and picking procedures to minimize errors and rework.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions to support safe and efficient operations.

Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Essential Skills

Proven ability to work quickly while maintaining high accuracy and quality.

Strong attention to detail when picking products, packing orders, and applying labels.

Capability to perform repetitive tasks while standing in one location for extended periods.

Reliability in following established processes and meeting production expectations.

Basic understanding of packing and picking workflows in a warehouse or fulfillment environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with packing, picking, and packaging in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.

Familiarity with placing products in plastic shipping bags and labeling them correctly.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where speed and quality are equally important.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse or fulfillment setting where you will work on the first shift from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will primarily stand at a designated workstation while handling products, plastic shipping bags, and labels. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and maintaining an organized, safe workspace. Casual, practical attire suitable for warehouse work is appropriate.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
