Accounting Manager

Key Objectives:

Oversee all financial duties, ensuring compliance with fiscal, legal, and group reporting requirements.

Guide financial decision-making by establishing and enforcing company policies.

Design, implement, and maintain effective financial controls.

Support both immediate and long-term business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, treasury, payroll, and asset management.

Take charge of accounting operations, with the opportunity to hire and supervise additional staff as the organization expands.

Handle monthly financial closing and reporting to the Group.

Prepare yearly financial statements, ensuring alignment with US GAAP and Group standards.

Develop and oversee the annual budget and forecasts.

Provide necessary financial documents and reports to the Parent Company.

Ensure adherence to accounting policies issued by the Parent Company.

Set up internal controls to safeguard company assets and transactions.

Oversee accounting and tax matters related to cross-border activities, particularly those involving Mexican operations, ensuring compliance with US laws and Group policies.

Participate in audits and consult with external advisors.

Candidate Profile:

At least six years of experience in senior accounting or finance roles (experience in manufacturing, especially automotive, highly preferred).

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.

CPA or CA certification required.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in lean environments.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of national and local tax laws and compliance.

Familiarity with financial project management and technology tools.

Proficient in SAP (ERP) and Intuit QuickBooks.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
