Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Vertical Lift Division is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner to join our Production Engineering team in Mesa, AZ.

Our Production Engineering team provides direct support of the Apache assembly and other military, space and commercial aircraft throughout the Mesa site including: AH-64 Apache Final Assembly, Production Flight Test and Depot Repair and Overhaul plus our Metallic, Electrical, and Composite Centers of Excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.

Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in tooling dispositions.

Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope. Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs.

Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.

Works under general supervision.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years' working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

1+ years' working with manufacturing engineering planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.

Prior knowledge of general fabrication, assembly, installation and or electrical fabrication level planning.

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Typical Summary pay range: $61,200 - $82,800
