Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM (+ Overtime Fridays)

In this role, you'll play a critical part in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment-delivering clean, repeatable welds on carbon and stainless steel pipe assemblies that power essential equipment.

What You'll Do
Perform precision TIG welding on black carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe (up to 8")
Execute high-quality welds on flanges, elbows, and compressor assemblies
Complete full weld cycles, including:
Root pass
Fill pass
Cover (cap) pass
Prepare materials for welding through grinding, beveling, and cleaning
Set up and operate TIG equipment, including wire-fed systems
Deliver consistent, defect-free welds while meeting cycle time and takt time targets
Work within a moving, high-output production line environment
Collaborate with team members to hit daily production and quality goals
Follow strict safety, quality, and process standards
Successfully complete weld tests as part of the qualification process
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven TIG welding expertise with:
Black carbon steel
Stainless steel
Dissimilar metals (carbon-to-stainless)
Strong proficiency in pipe welding techniques (root, fill, cap)
Experience preparing pipe for welding (fit-up, beveling, grinding)
Ability to maintain precision in a high-speed, repetitive production setting
Understanding of takt time and cycle time in manufacturing
Experience working on or alongside production lines
Demonstrated ability to pass weld tests and maintain quality standards
Additional Strengths:
Comfortable in a non-custom, production-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under time constraints
Team-oriented with solid communication skills
Willingness to train on first shift before transitioning to second shift

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Repetitive tasks with clearly defined production targets
Ability to:
Lift up to 35 lbs
Stand and walk for extended periods
Bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed
Strong manual dexterity and coordination required
PPE provided and required at all times

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
