Standard safety gear is required, safety boots, ear plugs, safety glasses and other as determined. The environment can be cold based on activity in the plant (overhead doors opening) and very hot depending on outside temperature, and equipment operations.JOB DUTIESMake molds using sand and through the use of patterns.Ability to handle grinder unit and accurate maneuvering of product.Ability to perform essential requirements of job.Safe operations including all safety gear.Must be dependable.QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONSGed or diploma or equivalent experienceAbility to read, write, conduct basic arithmetic.Manufacturing experience in heavy manufacturing [preferred]PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to tolerate standing for extended periods.Ability to tolerate safe levels of noise, heat, dust and cold.Repetitive motion and workLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an extensive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties requested by their supervisor in compliance with Federal and State Laws.Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.
