Job Title: Control Panel Builder

Job Description

As a Control Panel Builder, you will collaborate with our project teams and skilled panel shop staff to assemble high-quality UL508A control panels, server cabinets, and test stands. You will utilize drawings to build electrical equipment and ensure adherence to all safety policies.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical units and wire devices according to plans.

Use hand tools, wire cutters, strippers, and other necessary equipment.

Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies.

Build and wire industrial control panels based on schematics.

Perform electrical cabinet construction, including mounting and wiring components.

Essential Skills

Experience in panel building or electronics with a 2-year technical degree or equivalent 2 years of experience.

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Strong communication skills and detail-oriented.

Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift up to fifty pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and use drawings to build electrical equipment.

Experience with soldering and use of hand tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
