Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Assembler (General Production Worker)
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling mechanical and electrical components used in industrial, manufacturing, and aerospace applications. You will work with blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions to build high-quality assemblies using hand and power tools, wiring techniques, and precision measurement tools. The position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, 3-4 years of electrical assembly experience, and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and continuous quality.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
Perform wiring, crimping, soldering, routing, and installation of electrical components in line with specifications.
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
Apply precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure assemblies meet required tolerances.
Inspect completed work for accuracy, functionality, and adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all housekeeping and safety guidelines.
Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with production leads or engineers to resolve problems.
Document assembly steps, maintain accurate records, and report any defects, nonconformances, or material shortages.
Follow all company quality procedures and safety standards throughout the production process.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production schedules and support overall manufacturing goals.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
3-4 years of electrical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical tools used in assembly work.
Experience with soldering for electrical assemblies.
Ability to use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to quality.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Professional attitude and a track record of stable work tenure.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled facility in Naples, FL. Work is primarily bench assembly, with seating available approximately 90% of the time and frequent handling of small parts. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, providing an early start and consistent daytime hours. You will use a variety of hand tools, power tools, basic electrical tools, and precision measurement instruments in a structured production setting that emphasizes safety, organization, and quality.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
