As a Senior Industrial Engineer here at Honeywell, you will drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation. You will analyze and optimize processes, implement improvement strategies, and collaborate with teams for operational excellence. You will report directly to our VP Logistics, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will support trade-related and trade-impactful logistics operations across the Aerospace value chain, including transaction lifecycle, supply chain logistics, and regulatory compliance. You will develop compliant processes and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline order fulfillment, mitigate financial risk, and ensure efficient cross-border execution. With a global footprint, this role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in import and export compliance as well as tariff expertise.

You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Warehouse, Legal, Tax, Finance, IT, etc.) to deploy future-ready solutions, including systems, operational, and FTZ advancements, analytics/automation, and process standardization while ensuring compliance and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Support the upgrade and stabilization of end-to-end transaction lifecycle-from trade capture, order entry, and confirmation, through to shipping and settlement.

Provide hands-on support for external partner engagements, including 3PLs, freight forwarders, and specialty distributors.

Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve trade operations efficiency and visibility.

Utilize data analytics to inform stakeholders on trading risk.

You Must Have

3-5+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance, global supply chain, or transaction settlement operations.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with trade analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and supply chain management software.

Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. importer/exporter obligations, HTS classification, COO documentation.

Collaboration: Proven ability to lead by influence, negotiate with partners and vendors, and communicate complex data to leadership.

Advanced degree (J.D., MBA, or Master's in related field).

Knowledge of FAA and DOD/partner government requirements, international financial transaction frameworks preferred but not required.
