Director, Performance Marketing Strategy

This role shall establish a global performance strategy across our categories, embedding best-in-industry capabilities to accelerate growth across our brands. They shall lead a team of experts to build a data-driven approach to optimize our marketing investments across key media channels, with a strong focus on D2C,

They will embed a holistic approach to performance marketing, ensuring an optimized mix between brand and performance activities, enabled by a strong innovation pipeline of AI capabilities to be scaled with our global media agency partner.

Performance marketing strategy

Build performance marketing strategic principles to be embedded globally across brands and regions in close partnership with global media agency.

Design decision framework to optimize category performance, manage brand overlap and optimize media investments to driving overall category ROI.

Collaborate closely with brand.com teams to use data-driven insights to continuously improve activation and enhance optimizations.

Establish clear guardrails to embed performance marketing as part of integrated media strategy, with right balance of upper funnel 'brand' activity and lower funnel 'short-term performance' activity.

Channel expertise

Establish team of core 'channel experts' across paid and organic search, social, affiliates, GEO and programmatic.

Identify best-in-class capabilities to support adoption at scale of performance marketing practices and establish clear operating model with global media agency to accelerate adoption.

Establish clear ways of working and accountability with media agency teams and ELC teams to realiye

Establish a clear AI and automation roadmap transversally across channels to further enhance performance.

Measurement and optimization frameworks

Work with brands and regions to define global measurement framework to enable 'One ELC' language of performance as part of an integrated media strategy.

Lead global incrementality testing agenda and framework, and ensure teams embed learnings within local ways of working.

Establish global dashboards to monitor performance and impact of performance marketing practices.

Close collaboration with growth analytics team to embed multi-touch attribution capabilities, ensuring the right balance between branding and performance investment.

Qualifications

Degree holder in Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline

12 years experience that includes CRM, online or data analysis

Ability to present audience analysis in a compelling way, and to interpret data and recommend action on a variety of analyses

Able to understand consumer and business needs and translate into actions

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to confidently and concisely share ideas, objectives and results with key stakeholders, and collaborate with key stakeholders in brand and commercial team

Able to drive changes by influencing, inspiring, teaching, and collaborating
