Account Representative

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Respond to all client inquiries within 2 hours. Enter sales orders accurately and track progress through logistics. Prepare and maintain status reports, schedules, and project plans. Generate reports for management and customers as needed. Assist Account Managers with customer support and issue resolution. Communicate with customers to ensure all requirements are met. Monitor customer-specific processes and service level agreements (SLAs). Participate in quarterly business reviews when required. Provide backup support for Account Managers and other team members. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Deliver high-quality customer service and support daily operations. Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers\' problems. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problems. Compare disputed merchandise with original requisitions and information from invoices and prepare invoices for returned goods. Solicit sales of new or additional services or products. Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders, using computers. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Customer service experience preferred. Supply chain and SAP experience is a plus. #Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment. Flexibility to work overtime when needed. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Occasionally stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds. Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
